We stayed at a hotel over the weekend, and the onsen was definitely the best aspect of our stay. There were two indoor baths and one small outdoor bath that we enjoyed to our hearts' content. Our spacious room had a seating area and useful coffee and tea tools, and the beds were quite comfortable. The location was also a key factor in choosing this hotel. Public transport was easily accessible, with a bus line directly from the train station that dropped off right in front of the hotel.
While the onsen was the highlight of our stay, there were a few negative aspects we noticed during our weekend. We were disappointed that the breakfast was minimal and expensive and added a tip, which we found unusual for Japan.

The pet-friendly addition to the hotel was a game-changer for us. Finally, we could bring our beloved dogs along on our annual trip to Hakone. The rooms were spacious and modern, equipped with everything we needed including a Nespresso coffee maker and a 4D TV. The dog bathing area was a bonus, ensuring our furry friends were clean and pampered. The French cuisine for dinner was a delightful surprise, and breakfast offered a variety of options to satisfy all tastes. The hotel had easy access to nearby museums and Lake Hakone. I highly recommend this hotel for pet owners and anyone seeking a luxurious stay in Hakone.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Best aspects were the peaceful location surrounded by scenic forests and mountains with gardens to walk in. Transportation was easy with a bus stop just outside. The hotel was clean with excellent facilities, including a private onsen in our room. The staff was polite and friendly and the breakfast was delicious with options of Japanese or Western style.
No issues.

Our recent couple's getaway was a dream at this serene hotel in a charming, scenic location. We loved being able to easily access various attractions and restaurants in the area. The onsen was a highlight, with its indoor and outdoor options, jacuzzi, and steam room. Our spacious room had a comfortable bed and modern amenities. The friendly service and delicious breakfast made for a delightful stay.
It's a shame that the hotel's restaurant only serves French cuisine and has limited hours, as we were hoping to try some local dishes.

Nice amenities, great location. Stayed here for Christmas and the hot springs were amazing. , the on-site restaurant was delicious and affordable. Location is perfect for exploring the surrounding area and the staff was generally attentive.
Terrible service, lousy heating. However, the rooms stopped receiving heat after the first night and despite multiple requests to staff, nobody came to fix it.
